Now that spring is in the air, Debbie aims to soon start working on a ‘Bee Road‘ along the fence on the green area. This will be a strip of ‘bee friendly’ wild flowers to help provide a habitat that bees can use to survive. If you see her out there digging I’m sure she’d appreciate some help.

Hi Debbie
Not sure how to contact you but i wanted to tell you about two things that might be of interest.
14 April Diamond Jubilee Meadow Planting Event & Plant & Seed Swap
http://www.walthamstowvillage.net/?q=content/event/diamond-jubilee-meadow-planting-event-plant-seed-swap
I’ll be there witha few others from the Waltham Forest FOE group, we’re keen to try and link up with residents who are doing work to protect bees as part of a new campaign.
There’s also a bee event taking place in lambeth on 28 April if you’d like to come along – more info on that at http://www.foe.co.uk/resource/event_background_documents/bee_prepared_london.pdf
